Tutor Training Workshops

ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

After you complete the orientation workshop, you may attend a Literacy Nassau Tutor Training Workshop (TTW).  New Tutor Training Workshops are held monthly and offer potential volunteers the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to work with an adult in a fun, engaging, friendly environment.  You can register for a specific Tutor Training Workshop below.  If you prefer, you can also call 516-867-3580 and we will be happy to explain more about Literacy Nassau's volunteer opportunities.

After you attend a workshop and become a volunteer, you will be fully supported and assigned to a Regional Director, who will assist you with lesson plans, troubleshooting, and anything else you need!
